These Terms govern the use of Adopta Una Vida. By registering or using the platform, you accept these Terms, the Legal Notice and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use the service

You must be at least 14 years old and provide truthful information when registering. You are responsible for the security of your account and for the activity carried out with it.

2. Purpose and proper use

Adopta Una Vida exists to help animals: adoption, fostering, spreading the word about lost and found pets, and supporting shelters and rescues. You agree to use it in that spirit and not to harm other people, animals or the service itself.

3. Prohibited conduct

  • Trafficking and sale of animals, breeding for profit or any form of animal exploitation.
  • Animal cruelty, or promoting, enabling or normalizing any form of cruelty.
  • Scams, identity impersonation, spam or unauthorized advertising.
  • Illegal, violent, sexual or hateful content, harassment, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Circumventing the platform's moderation or security mechanisms.

4. User content

You are responsible for the content you publish and retain ownership of it. By publishing it, you grant Adopta Una Vida a non-exclusive license to host and display it for the purpose of operating the service. You can delete your content and your account at any time.

5. Adoptions

Adopta Una Vida facilitates contact but is not a party to adoption agreements, which take place directly between the people and entities involved. We recommend acting prudently and verifying information.

6. Moderation and suspension

We may review, hide or remove content, and suspend accounts that breach these Terms or the law, especially regarding animal trafficking and cruelty. We use automated detection, human review and shelter verification.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of the platform or from agreements between users.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; we will notify you of relevant changes. They are governed by Spanish law.
